Post clear seasonal vacancies

Advertise fruit picking, packing shed, farm hand, vineyard, nursery, hospitality and other seasonal roles. Help candidates decide whether the work fits their skills, location and availability by giving the worksite, start and end dates, expected hours and number of positions.

State the actual pay basis, applicable award and classification. Explain accommodation and transport availability, any costs and what a worker needs to bring. Avoid promises about visa outcomes: specified-work eligibility depends on the visa, work, location and current Home Affairs rules.

1. Register your business

Provide your business identity, contact details and applicable labour hire licence information. Business identifiers are used privately for registration and review.

2. Get reviewed

An administrator reviews employer registrations before posting is enabled. Check your approval status in your employer dashboard. New and edited jobs also enter review.

3. Manage your season

Approved employers can post up to 5 jobs per calendar month under the standard allowance. Editing or pausing a job does not restore a used post.

Review applications in one place

Your dashboard shows applications for your own jobs. Review candidate profiles and the private documents each applicant has selected to share, then update application statuses as your shortlist progresses. Candidates keep control of which documents they attach to an application.

Keep vacancies accurate as your season changes. Pause or close a role when you are no longer accepting applications. Include useful screening questions and requirements so candidates understand the work before applying.

Hiring working holiday makers

Read the Working Holiday 417 guide, Work and Holiday 462 guide and specified-work and 88-day guide for links to the official rules. Check work rights and the circumstances of each role. The pay and conditions guide and labour hire guide explain practical checks with official sources.

Plan your recruitment

Use the Australian seasonal work calendar to explore typical regional windows, then confirm your own dates and labour needs. Browse current seasonal jobs to see the practical information candidates compare. Workers should never pay a fee to get a job.
